Your journey essay using Heros journey

Compose a narrative essay of your Hero’s Journey as it relates to your college experience this semester (and/or school year).
Define your elixir. If every journey ends with a lesson, what is your lesson?
Integrate quotes/ideas from”A Practical Guide to The Hero With A Thousand Faces” by Chris Vogler Use these quotes to illuminate the significance of your experience. If, for example, you’re going to describe your “mentor,” then how describe what a mentor is per the “A Practical Guide to The Hero with a Thousand Faces.”Be at least 1,500 words.
Makes attempt to follow the hero’s journey
Integrates at least three quotes (total) from “A Practical Guide to The Hero With A Thousand Faces” by Chris Vogler, “What makes a hero?” by Matthew Winkler, and a source of your choosing (so long as it is relevant to the Hero’s Journey).
At least one of these quotes must come from “A Practical Guide to The Hero with a Thousand Faces.”

Including the 12 stages of archetypes  I gave you some of the information that I did on myself but could use some more help explaining it deeper Make sure to talk about the surpreme ideal that is a moment where we want to focus  in our essay
1. The ordinary world : A freshman in college who is serious about achieving her goals for a better future

The Call to adventure: I didn’t feel like it was a necessary thing to go to college after college I didn’t have any plans on what my ultimate goal was.

Refusal : I was very unhappy working for retail jobs. I wasn’t getting scheduled to work everyday which became so stressful and annoying at the same time. I felt like i deserved and can do more in my life by going to college to achieve my goal.

Mentor / Help : My fiancé motivated me to realize that it is best to go back to school and do something I love rather than working for restaurants and retail stores, I then talked to my grandparents about school and they always told me it is never to late to go to college . I didn’t want to look back years later and think to myself that I could’ve went to college and got the dream job I always wanted.

Crossing the threshold: My first week  of college was stressful because I enrolled late.  I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get into the classes that I needed to take, I was on the waitlist for 2 classes and I really didn’t think I was going to be able to get in since I enrolled late but thankfully I did . All the stress and overthinking resolved and I was excited to start this new chapter.

Tests , Allies, and Enemies: During this semester I have connected with so many people that were able to help me . I even met people that are so understanding and even going to the same field as me which made me feel really good. I managed to get some classes with friends that are willing to help me and navigate me to the right path since it is my first year. My enemies would probably be my grandma , everytime I talk to her about the job that i want to do she always tries to make me go into something way different that I dont have interest in doing .

Approach , Innermost Cave : As the semester is almost over Im starting to prepare myself for the summer classes that I have to take , Im pretty good with being on top of all my work which makes things so much easier as being a mom and have a chil to take care off all at the same time.

Reward : Im not so stressed out and I actually have time to sit down and do all my work and get great scores in all my assignments for all my classes it makes me feel so much better that Im not so stressed out and that I can enjoy life without losing lack of sleep or energy.

2. Myself : I always do whats best for myself and what makes me happy

Fiance: Supports me in anything that I want to do and always gives the best advice , Helps me with our child and financial support with bills and school. He has changed my life in so many ways I appreciate everything he has done for me.

Daughter : Gives me a reason to do better everyday and loves to spend time with me even when im busy . She always puts a smile on my face.

The surpeme ordeal should be the main focus in the essay . Throughout this journey in my life of being a first time college student I felt that i wanted to quit school because I was so overwhelmed and tired with trying to juggle being a mom and going to school and making sure all the bills were paid and making sure my daughter was taking care of .
