Part One: General introduction dealing with the traditional problems with Christology. Definition and Problems of Christological Task (particularly the Historical, Experiential and Biblical Issues. Example: How does Jesus Save? What does the cross mean? What is Christology? Who is Jesus? Who was Jesus? What does Jesus do? Why did he die for mankind on the cross? How does Jesus dying make it possible for our Sins to be forgiven?
Part Two: Three Models of the Atonement (Christus Victor, Satisfaction, Moral)
Focusing on the Ontological (Divine/Human Problems) and Soteriological basis of theologies Christology
