The marketing plan for LeGout
What you will write will be part # 5 titled “Target Market” of attached group report titled “The
marketing plan for LeGout” which will be papered jointly by 4 members including me.
Please note that the LeGout is an existing chocolate shop/factory at Saudi Arabia (Khobar City).
The customers mainly are families (mostly, Females and kids) and you MUST read the other
parts of attached report to have a full picture about this shop. Moreover, appendix II from
attached report will be a great reference for you as it includes a survey of 21 participants, you
may benefit from it.
To draw my expectation of the required quality of your writing, I brought the following
explanation which is quoted from chapter # 9 of the text book titled “Marketing Management”
by Kotler and Keller: “To compete more effectively, many companies are now embracing target
marketing. Instead of scattering their marketing efforts, they are focusing on those customers
they have the greatest chance of satisfying. Effective target marketing requires that marketers:
Identify and profile distinct groups of buyers who differ in their needs and wants
(market segmentation).
Select one or more market segments to enter (market targeting).
For each segment, establish, communicate, and deliver the right benefits for the
company’s market offering (market positioning).
