· Use an interpersonal communication theory that we discuss in class to explain an interpersonal interaction you had. Specifically, you need to
o Describe the nature of the interaction (5pts)
o Identify an interpersonal communication theory, describe its basic tenets, and explain it to your reader as if he or she has never heard about it. Use two additional sources other than the textbook to do so. (15pts)
o Apply the selected theory to the interaction and use the theory to analyze it. Importantly, you need to use the theory to analyze your and your communication parner’s verbal and nonverbal communication, tension between you, decisions that you made, and how the interaction could have been changed if you and your partner knew the theory. (15pts)
o Critique the applied theory in terms of its utility of scoping and explaining the interaction and identify potential caveats. (15 pts) In particular, you need to:
