Background Information
A gymnasium is often equipped for sports and exercise training. it is built to
accommodate a variety of activities that include weight lifting and aerobic exercises (Foster &
Porcari, 2001) . The gymnasium is always busy since so many people come for physical training
with various reasons. In most cases accidents can occur directly relating to the type of activity an
individual is engaged in or due to other environmental factors. The Physical and Sport Science
professionals have identified some of the common risks associated with gymnasiums.
