Your assessment should be a Microsof Word report of maximum 3000 words. Cover sheet,
table of contents, reference list, bibliography (optonal) and appendices (optonal) are not
considered in the word count. Students are expected to decide for themselves the appropriate
word length of each chapter by considering the assessment criteria specifed in this assignment
brief.
Only the frst 3,000 words (as defned above) will be marked. Any words you write in excess of
3,000 (as defned above) will be ignored.
Feedback arrangements
You can expect to receive marks and feedback forms on Blackboard 15 working days afer the
submission deadline. You will receive an email as soon as the marks and feedback forms are
available on Blackboard. In case you do not receive/cannot open the feedback form, you should
contact the module tutor via email to request a copy of your feedback form.
Please remember that feedback is about far more than the mark you receive. The mark refects
the quality of your assignment. The comments in the feedback form, however, are designed to
help you refect upon and improve your performance more generally. Please take the tme to
consider your feedback carefully.
During the course of the trimester there will be opportunites for discussing the development of
your response to the brief.

also be provided in the material supportng the sessions (e.g. the slides). Please make sure you

Assessment Criteria
You should look at the assessment criteria to fnd out what we are specifcally looking at during
the assessment. Marks for your assessment will be allocated based on the following assessment
marking criteria.
1. Depth of understanding of risk management and the detail of the risk register and risk
analysis overall mitgatons strategies – critcal discussion and evaluaton (Task 1). 30%
2. Knowledge and understanding of value management, problems identfed and the
feasibility and practcality of solutons (Task 2). 25%
3. Critcal discussion on quality management and clear link of quality management to the
project (Task 3). 20%
4. Appropriate introducton, synthesis and conclusions. 15%
5. Presentaton of the report and appropriate use of Harvard referencing style (Layout,
structure, in-text citaton and reference list) 10%
