We now know that there are various legal entities available to us to employ as business vehicles. We have now heard — and will read about traditional and non-traditional approaches to funding a business entity that plans to enter the restaurant industry in some way, shape, or form.

As you complete this fieldwork exercise, you will outline the pros and cons provided below in a PPT presentation slide deck, which you will save as a PDF and post to this activity space.

the pros and cons of taking on “friends and family” investors,
the pros and cons of seeking traditional third party investors,
the pros and cons of borrowing funds,
and the pros and cons of “crowd funding.”
Your final slide will include your personal funding strategy for your new business, and why you believe that it is the best strategy for your concept.
