Module 3: Project Assignment EAA Outline

PLEASE NOTE: THIS ASSIGNMENT MUST BE IN OUTLINE FORMAT WITH ALPHANUMERIC FORMAT.  ESSAY FORMAT IS NOT APPROPRIATE.

Instructions

Following your activity experience, you will begin to research the topic of that experience in this assignment. Outline the different biopsychosocial elements of your topic in preparation for the analysis paper. You will also identify at least two additional academic sources related to the subject of your activity, one of which must be a peer-reviewed journal article, and add them to your initial references page from Step 2: EAA Proposal. Include your now updated references page (with six total academic sources, at least three of which need to be peer-reviewed journal articles). See below for expected items to complete in the EAA Outline, and note this is a full sentence outline in which you will draft some initial ideas for your paper:

Introduction – Introduce the topic and name the biological, psychological, and social components that are being explored. Also, draft your thesis statement.

Biological Component – Outline what elements of the biological component will be explored in the paper. For example, are there physical health or safety concerns to be mindful of related to the activity? Are there health benefits to be gained from this topic?

Psychological Component – Outline what elements of the psychological component will be explored in the paper. For example, are there potential psychological benefits, risks, or considerations that should be made in relation to the topic?

Sociological Component – Outline what elements of the sociological component will be explored in the paper. For example, are there potential sociological considerations that should be made in relation to the topic such as legal issues, community aspects, age restrictions, etc.?

Conclusion – Outline how might you synthesize your analysis of the topic? Are there recommendations that can be made? Further research that may be needed? Etc.

References Page – Provide a complete APA format (7th ed.) references page with the six required sources, three of which must be peer-reviewed journal articles.

You may not use first person (I, me, my) in this paper. Your outline should use the 7th edition APA format and:

• Have a title and references page.
• Use correctly formatted in-text citations.
• Use 12 point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.
