For this project, I need two things:
1)A startup expense plan for my new venture business, which is a bakery&coffe shop. You have $1,000,000 to start this business. So all this money needs to be used. You can use more than $1,000,000, but not less than a million. All the expenses need to be accurate, so I need a reference next to all startup expenses. For example, Permit, San Diego city – Reference – where you got that number( have to be real numbers, which means you need to go to San Diego city website and find out how much cost for permits), Tables and chairs – price – reference: example: you can find the price at home depot, and so on. Please do good research and have all the permits and costs that one bakery with a coffee shop should have before opening the bakery. (tables, plates, cups, coffee machines, flour, sugar, coffee, etc.) You can group them in a way that makes sense. (Excel) *The bakery has indoor and outdoor space so we will need inside and outside furniture.
2) I need a proform of financial statements and an operation summary for 2 years into the future. (Excel)
a) I need Income Statment -Sales are broken down by type – cost of sales broken down by major categories – Gross margin – Operating expenses broken down by major functional cost centers – Operating margin – Other income and/ or expense – Profit before tax – taxes -net income
b) Proform summary of financial position ( balance sheet)
c) Proform source and uses statement/ cash flow
FOR PART TWO, YOU NEED REAL NUMBERS, SAME AS PART 1, WITH REFERENCE FROM WHERE YOU GOT THOSE NUMBERS Example: Like if you’re saying a muffin costs you $2, you need to be able to say that is because each muffin is like $0.60 of flour, $.80 butter, etc. And that those prices come from Costco or wherever. Important YOu need to find a menu from a bakery like Panera Bread and add coffee prices from some small local coffee shops that use quality ingredients for their baked goods and coffee. The bakery baked the good in the bakery. *If opening one bakery for $1,000,000 is too much, you need to double the costs and open 2 bakeries & coffee shops. Please, if you have questions asked me before you start to research or make the statements. The bakery will be open in San Diego, so it is good to find a menu from bakery&coffee shops from California. It’s your choice what will be on the menu, but please use sandwiches( ham and cheese), croissants, bagels, bread, cookies, scones, muffins, danish, all in more than one flavor. Coffee: latte, espresso, macchiato, tea(a few kinds), etc. Not all expenses and costs are included in the direction.
