Philosophy Reflections
The second part of the lecture focuses on bridging the gap between technology use with theoretical foundations. After viewing the lecture notes below for information you can reflect upon, complete your reflection of the material concerning the impact of technology on society and theoretical infusion before practice.
Think about the fundamental differences in Piaget’s and Vygotsky’s schools of thought presented. (Please note these are not the only theorists I will present, but they are fitting for this juncture in the course.) Post 60-100 words, but less than 200 words stating if you agree with one or both and how applying their theory will be relevant for the students with whom you are working. What are you preparing them for? Your reflection should be personalized and take into account your own experiences and work. I am looking for substantive reflections based in real-life experiences, not citations and information pasted from the internet.
After you are done with your post, post a thoughtful, open ended question at the end of your reflection to at least one of your classmates. Follow-up with an answer to a question (at least one) you receive. The reflection is worth 75 points.
In total, you should submit:
1) Your reflection,
2) Your opened ended question(s) to a classmate, and
3) Your response(s) to open ended questions posted to you by your fellow classmates
