Philosophy
This is a take home exam. It is 5 questions, each must be between 300-325 words. Exact instructions and prompts have been uploaded in a file.
Answers should:
- respond directly to the question
- be written in your own words
- be clear, complete, and precise
- be cogent
Rules
• You must answer each question in 300-325 words. Answers shorter than 150 words are unlikely to be adequate.
- Answers must not be in note form, or in shorthand. Complete, grammatical sentences are required. If your answer is unclear, we will have to conclude that you don’t
- Do not include quotes, even from any texts or lectures, though you should not paraphrase technical terms (e.g. “error theory,” “normative ethics”). You must answer the questions in your own
- Writing an answer that simply transcribes (or nearly does so) from the lecture is plagiarism. Exams will be checked by plagiarism detection software. Without exception, I refer all academic integrity violations to the Office of Student Conduct.
