(Q1) At the start of the pandemic, I was not coping, I feel exhausted, frustrated,
weak when the lockdown was put in place but with time, I have to accept it as a new
way of living, working.
I have to talk to my children to accept and cope with the current situation.
I was overwhelming during this period my children were ill but despite all I have
being through, at the end of the day I sat myself down, begin to talk to myself.
I started making myself to be positive, that gave me the courage to do my
schoolwork and handling family matters.

(Q2) In relation to personal and professional –What I have learnt can be deduce

Professionally – I have learned about how Covid 19 has affected the BAME
Community, it is an eye opener on how I have to take care of myself because of
how BAME are proportionally affected by Covid 19.
Exercise more, eating healthy in order to help me cope while working.
Finding a coping mechanism to relax when working in a difficult situation.

(Q3) Setting goal for myself to help me practice as a social worker when finding
myself in a similar situation.

If I am faced with such situation in the future, I would be more prepared, develop my
skills in order to work in an emergency situation to prove my ability as a professional.
I have been able to create my own network among my peers, colleague to make
learning conducive and to create my learning pattern.
Getting involve as much as I can to try new skills.
I have learned not to waste time in order to achieve my goals.
Though we are in a difficult situation at the moment, one should be able to have fun
despite working in a environment with lots of work to do however, the most important
objective is to make oneself happy by finding time to relax as a coping mechanism
for relieve from stress.
