Soooo, I really like history and have learned a ton about the US’s involvement in wars and other misdeeds for a couple of years now. The US’s involvement in Vietnam was due to the fact that when Ho Chi Minh, the leader of Vietnam during colonization and the Vietnam War, asked for the US’s backing from some federal agents because he wanted to make Vietnam a democracy, but of course, the US agents shooed him away like a fly so he went to Russia to ask for their backing which they gave. This then gave the US another country to go to war with because “COMMUNISM!!!!” when most Americans have no idea what communism or socialism means. Great brainwashing I must admit. So when Pyle is saying all those anti-communism things, that is a big statement on the US’s involvement. Also, the CIA is the dirtiest part of the US government when it comes to foreign affairs and the FBI is the dirtiest when it comes to national affairs (responsible for the murders of MLK, Malcolm X, and much more). Also, I’m giving you these background/historical details because your paper was otherwise spot on with only a few grammatical errors, “clinician” that’s not what Phuong is, she is an “escort”, and Fowler is his last name so you do not need to put “the” in front of it (I can see why you did though, fowler is a word and a name and you only did once). Also, Fowler wants to divorce his wife but she won’t divorce him because she is catholic. Towards the bottom of the second page, “However, Phuong to gets”, switch gets and to, but write too because too shows an excess and to shows like “to someone” etc. Also, what is the Third Force? I’m genuinely curious about that, was that the CIA’s operation before the Vietnam War started for the US? In your closing statement, change it to “Therefore, the West never worked” because “did” does not work in this way. You could say, “Therefore, the West never did work as a block when engaging in wars in the East.” Also, the US has done so much damage to Central and South America that I am ashamed at the extent of the damage inflicted and the fact that I was taught none of it in K-12 schooling but only learned of it after.
