Another issue I have is the last point of my essay ” where women can not make their own decision”. According to my professor, you need to provide more evidence from the short story to prove that point.

I will like you to redo this point in my essay because according to my professor The Yellow Wall-Paper ” the narrator was restricted without no option while in the White Elephant the woman was not restricted but was given the option.
Also, my thesis statement does not make a strong argument.

“Furthermore, both women in the texts have been used as an example indicating how the freedom of a woman to move from one location to another is extensively dependent on other factors rather than their independent decision. For example, the American in “Hills Like White Elephant” seems to imply to the woman that her freedom to move across the world is dependent on her having the operation. After stating several advantages the woman was likely to enjoy as a result of having the procedure, he notes that “We can go everywhere” (Hemingway 264)…………….etc”
