Essay Outline

This outline will serve as a starting point for the topic you decided to pursue from the Week two discussion.

Simply fill in the template below as you work on mapping the main points of your essay.  As you develop this outline, you might find points that repeat, or points that need to be expanded in another paragraph, you can additional major point sections as needed.

Proposed Title (no more than 12 words):

 

Your thesis statement should be inserted at the end of your introductory paragraph. This statement should clearly note the purpose and central claim you plan to make in your paper.  You are not writing a full introduction for this outline, but remember that your introduction will prepare your reader to understand your thesis.  Your thesis should map the main points of your essay.
