Students will write a research paper on the company they currently work for, one you previously worked for, or a company you hope to one day work for and create a profile of its organizational culture. Each of the areas below are required in the paper, but not limited to. Discuss the following organizational behavior topics as applied to your company:

The demographic characteristics as discussed in the textbook (Chapter 2)

The Levels of Diversity Theory (Chapter 2)

Attitudes through the Theory of Components of an attitude (Chapter 3)

Moral Emotions Theory (Chapter 4)

Situation Strength Theory (Chapter 5)

McClelland’s Theory (Chapter 7)

Social Identity (Chapter 9)

Modes of Communication (Chapter 11)

Factors contributing to Political Behavior Theory (Chapter 13)

Span of Control Theory (Chapter 15)

Substantive and Contingent Selection (Chapter 17)

Some of the research can be completed by looking at the mission, vision, values statements, annual reports, news stories, employee interviews, public communications and press releases, etc.

Please use the headers above to organize your paper. Required length of the paper (not including the title page or reference page) is between 8-10 pages. The format for this paper needs to be in APA per Webster University policy.

By having nine weeks to organize, write and edit the paper, you will be expected to produce a high quality, graduate-level product. You will need to write concisely, edit well, and clearly organize your thoughts.

Students must create their term paper in a Word document and submit it as an attachment to the Assignment – Final Paper. Term papers created in a format other than Word are often not compatible with the web classroom, may not be readable by your instructor and will not be accepted.

General requirements listed below must be followed:

The work presented must be original and exclusively yours and cited with in-text citations per APA; (the TurnitIn tool will be used automatically to check all term papers).
The paper must be of graduate level caliber, with proper grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, paragraphing, pages numbered, etc.
There must also be a cover page and reference page, which are NOT part of the 8-10 pages. The 10-page maximum will be enforced.
