Memorandum for Discipline Investigation

ello, I will provide the instructions for the assignment and the REQUIRED FORMAT in the files section please make sure to review them. NO ANY OTHER SOURCES ARE ASKED. PLEASE FOLLOW THE MEMO FORMAT in the file section. it is a reflection based on an interview I did with an industrial engineer who is focused on logistics and supply chain. PLEASE FOR THE Discussion part make sure for each paragraph (there should be 2 ) have a CLAIM.
The Engineer I interviewed works at ARAMEX ( logistics company). PLEASE FOLLOW THE Pages I provided from THE STUDY GUIED for THE MEMO. PURPOSE should be one sentence of the purpose of the first discussion paragraph and one sentence the purpose of the second discussion. I’ll also provide my letter that i send it to engineer
Here are my answers to the questions:

1) -Did you achieve your purpose? Yes i did, my purpose was to learn more about the major and how logistics and supply chain work.
-Did your letter and resume successfully garner an interview with an industry professional? Reflect honestly on who your audience was and how you identified that person as the target of your letter. my letter and resume did successfully graner an interview with an industry professional he is an industrial engineering work with the company Aramex with the logistics department he has 10 years of supply chain and logistics experience. That person was my target becuase he works with international logistics and the company he work at has a lot of sites in different countries which is awesome.
-Explain any correspondence you had with this professional and any lessons learned about researching industry contacts. even though he was not my first choice to interview but it worked out very well. I learned a lot about researching in the industry that i always should be professional (you can add anything here)

2) -What did you learn about your career through your research and networking for both of these assignments? I learned that the things that I think i should not focus on these are mostly the important things that i should work on example excel because he talked a lot about excel sheet and how it important for engineers. ANd also focus on getting internship at least 2 before i work even though i did not mention internships, he did mention it and mention the important of it.

Your response to #2 needs to include specific research on your career that you gathered in preparation for the interview. How did the information you acquired as a result of your interview affect you in terms of your interest and understanding of your chosen field? After the research and the interview i did it really affects my interest in the major and now i really understand how things work especially supply chain and logistics and i’m more excited now to work in these filed since they have a lot of international aspects

-What did you learn about your field from the responses to the three required questions?
The three required questions are:
1) Inquire about the communication skills necessary on the job. Ask: what kind of writing is done on the job?
his answer was “the writing is done on the job is answering emails and preparing reports to their mangers about how the shipment gonna be that includes graphs and data.
2) One environmental question, e.g., does the company have environmental policies?
the environmental policies that are related to climate change they don’t have a lot but sometimes they have workshops and presentation on how to save the climate and since it a logistics company that focused on shipping with the different methods sometimes they have presentations about that but not a lot. The environmental policies that is related to work place is having good vibes respect other no gossips work as a team etc
3) Does the company have a code of ethics? Has the interviewee dealt with an ethical dilemma in the workplace that he or she is willing to share?
He never dealt with it but he told me that in any work place it can happen you just have to be confidence and know your work very well.
