Please find below the reasons for granting my student visa to your country:
I was born and raised in Pogradec, Albania, where I currently reside. I have applied and received an offer to pursue my undergraduate studies in Software Engineering at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Ontario, and will matriculate this fall, September 2021.
The primary purpose of my visit to Canada is to complete this 4-year degree program in Software Engineering at Ontario Tech University. For proof of my admission to the University, please find my LOA enclosed with this letter. I am undertaking this program as it will allow me to obtain the essential undergraduate qualification in Engineering and equip me with the right skills and domain knowledge to subsequently secure employment in the engineering field. This program is essential as it will provide me with the theoretical and practical essential knowledge and practical skills required by software engineers. I hope to use my software engineering skills to expand my mother’s business and allow it to achieve greater heights and success.

I have always wanted to become an engineer, and granting my student visa will help me enhance my mother’s business and fulfill my ambitions. Having a passion for Engineering since I was a little child, studying Engineering, particularly at Ontario Tech, will be a dream come true. My love for Engineering is immense, and there is no doubt that I will strive to be amongst the top Engineers in my school and even globally. Albania, my home country, is a developing country that went through civil war not many decades ago, and there is a need for engineering talent. I believe that the skills I acquire through the Software engineering program at Ontario Tech will equip me to play a significant role in the global market.
I chose to study at Ontario Tech because it has an impeccable reputation in engineering and the computer sciences, ranked among the top 10 programs in Canada, and placing 3rd for engineering and 4th out of all computer science programs in Ontario. Also, students benefit from its technology-enriched learning environment, hands-on learning internships, research opportunities, and vibrant student life. I want to acquire technical skills while studying at Ontario Tech University, including Computer Programming and Coding, Software Development, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and Software Testing and Debugging. Additionally, I believe that the holistic university experience studying at Ontario Tech and in Canada will also help me hone my interpersonal skills such as problem-solving and logical thinking, written and verbal communication, and teamwork. In the field of engineering, and indeed in any business workplace, the ability to analyze complex technical information, analyze business requirements, and assess impact within the existing database architecture, good research skills, and excellent problem-solving tactics in the field will help in the growth of business and organizations. I have chosen Canada over other countries like Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom because it is truly a country that embraces and embodies diversity. I want to live and breathe in a country and environment that is multicultural as it will engender and broaden my worldview and gain a wider perspective.

I am an impeccable student. I currently hold a high school diploma from Woodstock Academy, where I earned a 3.9-grade point average where I have developed a wide range of skills, especially in computer programming and software engineering. These were my favorite units in the course. I transferred to Woodstock Academy in my junior year during high school, and I have been part of The Women Leadership since then. I also participated in the Robotics Club competition while at Woodstock Academy, where I enhanced my knowledge in Vex Robotics. Indeed, in any community that I am in, I commit my best and give my 100%.
Further, prior to spending my junior and senior years at The Woodstock Academy, I developed an interest in engineering and technology. Before that, I was able to participate in various activities, qualifying for the following courses at Mehmet Akif College, an esteemed educational institution in Albania: Java Programming Language, HTML, and MS Excel. These courses have exposed me to practical web designing work. I also picked up algorithm theory which exposed me to complex algorithms used in problem-solving.
As an individual, I am an exemplary performer. During my freshman year, two other students from my class and I formed a robot programming team and took part in the Albanian Science and Engineering Fair 2019, an international competition. During this event, my team and I showed a strong performance and clinched second place in Science & Technology Contest. I also scored second place in a Business & Economics online competition recently. These collaborations with classmates have taught me the value of including diverse minds in creating new ideas. I believe in developing new ideas, and teamwork has always been a driving force in the engineering field.
Further, in my quest to improve the Albanian Software Engineering market, I have a range of certificates of participation and awards from international forums with which we have collaborated. I earned the skills to apply to Woodstock Academy, where I won outstanding achievement awards in Engineering and Entrepreneurship. The curriculum of Woodstock Academy allowed me to study a wide range of subjects, including distribution system development, specification of software systems, software quality, and evolution. My more comprehensive technological background shines through in the networking of devices and tools.
