you must write an opinion letter to your client on the three issues you wrote your issue statements on.

You will need to make sure your opinion letter contains the following:

It is on letterhead – you will need to create a fake letterhead for your law firm.
It has 1″ margins.
You use Times New Roman 12 pt. font and 1.15 spacing.
You will need to make sure you include all THREE of the issues.
You will need key facts.
You will need applicable law – which as we earlier discussed can be found in Fla. Stat. Ch. 61 (2020) (Links to an external site.).
You will also need to be able to clearly state the legal question you are giving your opinion on.
This letter should be objective.
You will need to use the IRAC method of analysis in analyzing each of the issues.

issue statement : Bambi Fact Pattern

Bambi’s mother was just a young doe who fell in love with The Great Prince of the Forest, a much older man. She was only 16 at the time. Soon thereafter she found out she was pregnant. Bambi was born shortly thereafter.

The Prince of the Forest has never said Bambi is his son. Bambi’s mother has heard through the Forest gossip, and her Aunt Ena, that The Great Prince has had many affairs in the forest and potentially fathered several young deer. The Great Prince is often gone for long periods of time. Bambi’s mother never knows when he is going to show up and visit Bambi. She has heard rumors he might be married. The Great Prince is known for fighting with the other bucks in the forest and contributes very little to Bambi’s upbringing.

Bambi’s mother is young and inexperienced in caring for Bambi. She is known to leave Bambi in the care of Friend Owl often. Everyone in the forest knows Friend Owl to be a little eccentric and not the most reliable of care takers. Recently, there was an incident with Bambi’s mom where she let him wander into the dangerous meadow where Bambi was almost killed. Bambi has also started hanging out with some questionable friends. He is often seen in the company of Thumper and Flower. They are constantly getting in trouble in the Forest. Lastly, Bambi has gotten into at least one fight with another young buck, Ronno.

Bambi’s mother has filed a Petition to Establish Paternity against The Great Prince of the Forest. While the case is pending, she would like you to resolve some temporary issues: She wants to know if she can get an order preventing The Great Prince from having unsupervised contact with Bambi? She would also like temporary child support pending the resolution of the suit; and finally, she would like to know if she can get temporary attorney’s fees while the suit is pending.
