leadership and coordination
The case scenario I will like to talk about is a stroke patient who also has hypertension and diabetes.
The discussion is going to be about how leadership and coordination were displayed by the Multi-disciplinary Teams or other professionals in providing holistic care to this patient focussing on one of the conditions. I will like to focus on STROKE.
In discussing this also, the four (4) learning outcomes should be covered using the seven (7) points on page 2 of the Assignment Guideline.
Professionals like physiotherapist, Speech and language therapist, neurologist, family, gp, nursing team,ward doctors etc should be discussed.
Confidentiality of the patient and the lead nurse should be maintained by using a pseudonym and referencing the NMC code.
Slides and transcript will have in-text references
Powerpoint will have bullet points with few headings
The transcript will explain the bullet points
The references will be on a word document and not on the PowerPoint slide
