This assignment is to write about my internship gains. I have completed a part, including a detailed introduction to the internship. Please read it first and according to the following requirements to finish the paper. Thank you!
(a) Select and describe one incident of “cultural learning” during your internship. This could be a time when you learned something new or different about the culture or the organizational culture of the place in which you were working. How did you react? Why do you consider this a learning opportunity?
(b) Provide an 8-10 page description of something you worked on, and the skills you gained in your internship. This could include challenges, opportunities and reflections on the overall experience. Most important here would be to answer the question of how well were your learning objectives that you listed in Part 1 met during the internship? Was the overall experience valuable?
HINT: It is advisable to keep a weekly journal of your activities and assignments at the internship so you can produce a critical reflection of your experience
(c) A statement of your intended “next steps” in your career development. Does this include more classes on campus, graduate school, seeking employment, etc? Does this include contacting one or more of your network contacts for references or referrals?
