Mathematics anxiety in relation to mathematics performance: is there a gender difference? What can teachers do to reduce mathematics anxiety and improve the student experience and learning?
Please read the below instructions for the work that is required.
As you will be aware, you have previously written sections 3 and 4 for the ‘Literature Review’ and ‘Research methods and ethical considerations’. I have made some amendments to these sections, so can you please read these sections again before starting work on the other sections. See below uploaded file, as well as questionnaire and interview questions.

To help aid you with the work, I have included another students work for the other sections. Although the title of the inquiry project is different, the methods and details required are very similar. I am happy for you to use that work as long it does not appear as plagiarism. I hope this will give you guidance of the type of work I need and reduce the number of improvements needed. When completing this section, I need to write about the type of interview question responses I would have expected from the selected students male and female with high and low MA, based on what I have found in the literature review. There are a lot of interview questions on my form ‘4. Interview questions’, I do not need to go through every question, just need to cover the section headings and write about the types of responses I would expect bases on what I found during my literature review.

Provide a critical overview of the literature relevant to your inquiry. It can help to start broadly with literature related to the bigger issues, before focussing on literature related to your specific research questions. Sources should include peer reviewed journals, book chapters and policy documents.

In this section you should apply the findings from your literature review to explain purpose for your research questions. Include a summary of hypothetical answers you would expect to your research questions based on the findings from the literature.
