Health Promotion funding proposal
Identified need: Essential items to be provided to vulnerable families with children leaving domestic violence situations and at risk of homelessness.
Project: To apply for funding for an appropriate storage type business location within Nowra NSW to raise this non for profit company. Funding will also include essential administration items (computers, internet), storage boxes, large carry bags, security etc.
Donations of baby and childrens essentials (including clothing, cots, prams, nappies etc) and care packages for mothers.
Relying on social services to indicate vulnerable families in the community, volunteers create packages for these families from donations made. There will be no meeting with clients, everything will be past on through social services.
An example of such organisation is Dandelion Support Company and Geelong Mums.
