Project description
For this assignment, do two hours of participant observation of public communication habits in a fast food restaurant. You have complete freedom to select a field site, and it is fine to select a place you know well and go at a time that is convenient for you. At the same time, consider that if you go to a new place, at an unusual time, you may be exposed to more interesting communication habits. Before you start your fieldwork, ask to meet the manager of the business and confirm with the manager that you have permission to work at the establishment for an extended period. Using the tools and techniques discussed in class, make notes on your field site, and then turn your jottings into a memo of findings.
Your essay only needs to be 500 words, but it should still be well structured and have a topic paragraph, evidence and examples, and a conclusion. Each paragraph should have a topic sentence. An average essay will simply recount your observations in sequence. A good essay will be structured thematically rather than by time stamp. A great essay will have perfect spelling and grammar, make one big coherent argument and offer several examples of evidence drawn from field notes.

For the assignment, write what the time you go (rush hour or?) and some aspects: Time, environment, Class, gender, race, language, wear, technology(using computer or cell phone), Group(what time what kind of group go.), interaction between each other, why better place to study or work than school library or cafe in campus.
