DescriptionEvaluation methods for justifying and evaluating the effects of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and in particular the Green Light Optimal Speed Guidelines (GLOSA). It is necessary to conduct literature reviews summarising the previous assessment methods and then supporting them with a research gap, which is insufficient statistical evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in urban areas. The trial will be held in Manchester and the region supported by Split Cycle Offset Optimization (SCOOT), and also i want methodical approch of type of data need to collect (Independent measurement of location at 1Hz with GPS to validate data (distance, speed, journey time) from the GLOSA APP. Network data logged manually to validate location/time when received GLOSA message, signal aspect change, stationary in queue, time passed stop-line. also how to collect the time when the drive recive the message from the App and the time spend to achive the speed advice ( the items i will use it in this trial are GPS Device, Smart phone with GLOSA APP installed, three Dash Camera, Laptop)
