Ethics and Security in App Design for Elderly and MCI Users
I have included my introduction, project poster and original spec sheet from the uni. I am designing an app to facilitate quick and easy authentication of a telephone caller to prevent phone phishing scams in vunerable elderly and mild cognitive impaired people. The literature review should look at the ethics and design considerations including security issues when part of the user set will be these vunerable users. I believe the extra layers of security combined with card readers and multi factor authentication, along with complicated app design that doesn’t consider how an Elderly or MCI user views it, is contributing to an possible increase in scams targeting these users (with a view to bamboozling them so they are lost, and drop their guard. The word bamboozle not to be included there. I want the literature review to be a qualitative assessment of the ethics and security in this process and what has been written about before. I need a good amount of references in it, about 20 i think in IEEE format. I’m not sure if I have given enough info here. Please feel free to contact me for any more info.
