In this study, 20 participants will be selected for interviews. This sample size will be large enough to sufficiently describe the phenomenon under investigation and address the research question (Sim et al., 2017). The sample size also will prevent saturation associated with large sample sizes in which the addition of more participants does not lead to new information.
6.5 Study Site
The study location will be London, United Kingdom. London is chosen as the study site because of the growing number of e-commerce businesses in the city. Therefore, the reason for selecting the city is because it has the highest concentration of e-commerce businesses’ headquarters, making them accessible.
6.6 Participants and Sampling
The target population is primarily e-commerce businesses in the country, who are well conversant with the issue. Random sampling will be used because it is one of the best sampling methods, decreasing bias in choosing a study populace (Sharma, 2017). Only e-commerce owners whose businesses are growing will be interviewed in the study after being contacted online. The researcher will visit the websites of the selected e-commerce businesses and regional contact managers. E-commerce businesses without proper contact on their websites will be visited physically and request permission to interview the manager. Upon being authorised, interview questions will be sent through email for a response.
