Transition: Writing has been a challenge for me, But I hope to start with my love for narrative writing and work to learn how to better myself for informative writing.

a. Introduction sentence: Narrative writing comes more naturally and is more enjoyable because, rather than using an outside source, I am the source.
b. Transition (back): I find it easier to write about something I personally experienced, or something I enjoy like my children.
c. Transition (forward): I find it difficult when I have a research paper that requires citations and having to find other reliable sources to complete the essay.

a. Introduction sentence: In the past, I have had a bad experience with writing using citations, which has affected my outlook on informative writing.
b. Transition (back): In the past, I made an accidental error that was due to a lack of being taught how to cite correctly that caused me to make a bad grade on a paper.
c. Transition (forward): Even though my experience did have an adverse effect, I will not allow it to affect my college career and writing skills.

a. Introduction sentence: To learn how to cite correctly and write better papers, I must have a positive attitude and mindset about the material.
b. Transition (back): I will focus more on the things that will help me better myself and future outcomes. Letting failures become lessons.
c. Transition (forward): I will practice more by visiting the student lab, attending sessions with a private tutor. Reading more books and going over the class materials.
5. Conclusion Paragraph
a. Call to Action: Through this class. I plan to practice writing by attending tutoring, using Grammarly to extend my vocabulary as well as a dictionary to help me learn how to write professionally. Another way would be to fully understand how to write using citations with the ability to write without it affecting me in my college career.
