I need to write a discussion response based on this question (no need research) :

As a team, identify what you think is the most important factor for choosing a future Albers School of Business & Economics student ( my school). Justify your choice. Provide at least three measures of that factor and explain how they work/how you would use them. If you would like, you could also specify which measures should hold more weight than others. For example, if student attractiveness was your chosen factor, then an example of how you could measure student attractiveness could be the prospective students body-mass index (BMI), and another example of how to measure student attractiveness could be the rosiness of the prospective students cheeks. And for whatever reason, you could argue that the students BMI is more important than a students rosy cheeks. Finally, identify two limitations/criticisms of your method for evaluating prospective students.

So my team chose PERFORMANCE as the factor. 3 measures of student’s performance would be PREVIOUS GRADES (academic performance), OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES ( volunteers, outside job,etc) and STANDARDIZED TEST (SAT).

– you need to define the word ‘performance’ itself include in the introduction.Why performance is an important factor to determine a future student at Albers school of Business and how it affects future career.
– in the second paragraph, explain how Albers school of Business use previous grades( academic) to determine a future student as their performance
– in the third paragraph, explain how Albers school of business use outside activities such as volunteers, outside works or jobs as the measure of performance of a student. How it affects a business student
– Paragraph 4, explain how Albers School of Business use standardized test as the measure of the performance of a student. How it works for business in the future.
– fifth paragraph, argue and choose which one out of three is the more important and explain why.
-sixth paragraph, state 2 limitations of a student’s performance for evaluating a future student. What are the limitations to choosing students based on performance?) So for example, if perseverance is your ultimate factor, how will you be able to tell if a candidate has good/high perseverance? Would you ask them to write an essay about a time they persevered? If so, then the essay would be one measure of perseverance.

My professor is a tough grader so make sure that everything is in detail, explain well and try to convince her to agree with the writings. Watch out for grammars and punctuations as well. Do not be wordy, just try to explain in good and simple way. Do not copy from internet! you can take the idea but paraphrase it. Thank you
