Basic Summary:
Write a one-paragraph summary of the article in your own words. Be sure to understand
the main research question or hypothesis, basic details of the methodology, and a
summary of the findings.

Life Application:
1-2 compelling ways the key insights apply to social life today
They can be examples from online, society, or personal
Creative Addition:
1 image, clip (2min or less with URL), news story, graph, etc. that speaks to the topic

Discussion Questions:
1. Three penetrating questions to ask the group to discuss. They must be open ended, not
just yes/no
2. They cannot all be opinion questions, (e.g. “What do you think about religions?”), but
should rely on knowledge of the material to answer (e.g. “What are the three main
branches of Christianity practiced in the United States?”).
3. If there was something you did not fully understand or want class or instructor
input on, you may ask one of those types of questions.
