I am currently in a Comprehensive Direct Study Course for a Family Nurse Practitioner program in which the goal of this course is to write a thesis/research paper on a problem identified within the medical field and how we may change practice through the research we’ve conducted. This paper is the final paper of the entire program in which it is considered one of the largest most robust papers that must be thorough and near flawless for submission.

That given we will be doing the paper by sections. I have a syllabus that highlights all sections of the paper that must be completed for I will upload it with the intent for viewing as a guideline to refer to when writing the paper. You have written the introduction, background, significance, themes, already within my previous order for you will be adding from that point forward.

For this specific assignment today, I will only have you writing these 2 sections:

My PICOT question/objective that will be used for the paper is as follows:

“In adult Hispanic (specifically Mexican Americans) patients with type 2 diabetes, what barriers exist with treatment, and what self-management strategies within the primary care setting are most effective at reducing an uncontrolled baseline A1c by 15% in one year? Uncontrolled A1c is present when A1C is greater than or equal to 8%.”
