Briefly explain what is meant by globalization and summarize each perspective as explained by David Held (must be minimum of 300 words.) The responses must reflect the assigned readings with in-text citation (Author, p. #). Use in-text citation at least 2. Answer must be minimum of 300 words and reflect the assigned readings. Answer must reflect a balance between quotations and/or paraphrasing with proper in-text citations (Author, p. #) and your own voice and thought on materials covered. You must support your arguments and claims by using scholarly sources, utilizing sociological concepts and insights you are learning. It is crucial to go beyond what we already know, as experience and/or common sense knowledge, and develop a critical understanding of social issues, based on facts and evidence, at the structural and institutional levels within their historical contexts. The goal is to stimulate critical thinking by making rational arguments and asking relevant questions in order to enhance an ongoing dialogue in our virtual classroom. For in-text citations of paraphrased material, provide the author and date, as for any APA Style reference. To cite a direct quotation, also provide page numbers if the e-book has page numbers. If there are no page numbers, you can include any of the following in the text to cite the quotation (see section 6.05 of the Publication Manual, pp. 171–172): a paragraph number, if provided; alternatively, you can count paragraphs down from the beginning of the document; an overarching heading plus a paragraph number within that section; or an abbreviated heading (or the first few words of the heading) in quotation marks, in cases in which the heading is too unwielagndy to cite in full.
