Cultural Identity between places (Working title) (What shapes cultural identity?)

Good good morning!
This essay should mainly be focused on the idea of home. Specifically, to people who have been brought up/ lived in different countries/ places. Can one really belong or feel home somewhere if one traveled from place to place.

For example, I am half russian half italian but, i was brought up in HongKong and i feel nostalgic about these places ever so often. i even feel nostalgic and miss things i have never witnessed, but what my grandparents told me about or my parents or what i read from the literature or watched from the movies. And I know that i will never be Russian in Russia or Italian in Italy. I will alway be an italian in russia and russian in italy. But i feel good in italy, i leave my house an i feel good- the way people gesticulate, talk, walk , eat- its the little thing are close to my heart. But i do also feel at home in Russia whenever i go. The history, literature is close to my soul. I understand russian music as i think better than a true russian person and i understand ruskin soul well. And hong kong where i was brought up and my papa still lives is also home to be because my papa is there and yet its not quite home even though i was brought up there. So if you ask me where home is- i do not know. i don’t even know what my first language is.

so, exile, cultural belonging, what home means to one, please do consider artists, cinematographers, poets. writers who have dealt with the idea of home (to get images out of it as well) (2-3 images is needed).

And also quite importantly this essay should in process discuss and argue different points of view on this subject.

Bibliography and image annotation is incredibly important.
