The critical assignment for, Creativity and Innovation, is one of a series of assignments designed to demonstrate that students have achieved the learning outcomes established for the majors in the College of Business and Management.

The students will each learn how to create, cultivate and promote an independent entrepreneurial mindset, for creating a sustainable business venture in a competitive global environment. In addition they will learn the critical skills necessary to innovatively develop new products that meet current global needs through the utilization of current technology.
The specific components of this assignment should include the following:
Executive summary justifying need for the new product.
Description of the new product.
Evaluation of the market/industry in which the new product will be introduced (supplied).
Degree of competition in the market in which the new product will be supplied.
Financing of the new venture.
Application of current technology in development of the new product.
This assignment is a contains a written and oral presentation component. The two parts of this assignment are as follow:
Part I
For this project each student is to invent a new product/service that meets a current local or world need. The product and or service proposal must include but is not limited to the following: Executive summary/overview of need being met, description of product and or service, market/industry overview, competition, financing of venture.
The written paper is to be typed single spaced, 1 margins, Times New Roman and 12-point font, with correct spelling and grammar, proper citation, references, with a cover page and organized with headings. The instructors approval of the topic is required. The length of the review is a between 3-5 pages. Papers that are less than 3 and more than 5 will not be accepted
