Creative Process Paper, Project Analysis Discussion

Instructions
After reading our texts, describe a creative project or product of your own. It can be something that you’re proud of from the past, or one that you’re currently working on. In any event, it must be substantial enough for you to analyze and reflect upon your creative process.

In one mini paper:
Identify a creative project or product of your own, briefly stating the pertinent “what, where, when, who and how” for context.
Chart your creative process using Lubart’s four stages as your guide. If you created it with a group, discuss your contribution and how the group attended to each stage as well as the group dynamic that impacted your personal and collective success.
Self-assess how well you attended to each stage, noting which stage was most challenging for you and why
Summarize your success with attention to what you’d do differently next time
Your submission should be between 750 – 1000 words long, which are equivalent to 3 – 4 pages. Please follow MLA style guidelines.
Second Part of the paper
Instructions: By now you’ve analyzed your project and have, hopefully, made some discoveries about your creative process. Address each question in your posting to this Discussion Forum.

In one paragraph briefly describe the project you analyzed.
Share with your classmates what you learned, generally speaking, about your creative process.
What stage did you enjoy the most, and why? What part did you enjoy the least, and why?
What surprised you the most about your own process?
What might you do differently next time, based on your new awareness?
Summarize your comments in no more than 250 words so that others may learn from you and comment on your ideas.
