Hello, Thank you in advance for accepting my order. The order is a total of 7000 words and consists of the following dissertation chapters, Introduction, literature review, and methodology (research design and methods). A brief outline on the words needed for each chapter is as follows, Introduction should be around 1000 words, the literature review should be around 4000 words, and the methodology should be around 2000 words. The topic of the dissertation is, “To what extent did the SARS pandemic influence the top 4 industries on the Hong Kong stock exchange in terms of share price, dividends, and how was their loan funding affected.” The top four industries being, Financial services, Trading and Logistics, Tourism, and Professional and Producer services. The way in which we are going to gain a reasonable sample size, which will give us a fair overview of the market/industry environments is that 5 companies are to be chosen from each of the top 4 industries and their figures, such as share price, dividends, etc, which will be derived from the Bloomberg Terminal will be analysed. I will provide the login details for the terminal on request. The methodology of the dissertation will be a systematic literature review, meaning that there will be no need to perform primary research. In the methodology section, please give extensive justifications as to why we have chosen this methodology and how it will be carried out in a way that will add validity to this paper, this is extremely important. The key is to show that our research was conducted meticulously. Some questions to answer, why include some the industries and not others? What were the sources of the material used? How did you select the material, did you only use published data within a particular time frame? For that final question the answer is yes. Please ensure that there is extensive justifications as to why we are doing the research the way we are. Also, state that the research is relevant because of the coronavirus situation and how many businesses and sectors struggled and doing this research will give us an insight on how it was dealt with in Hong Kong and what we can learn from that. We will be looking at the time periods spanning from 2001 (before the pandemic), through to the end of 2004, which was two years after the pandemic was first reported on the 16TH of November, 2002. We do this because in order to gain a full view of the impacts of the pandemic we must look at the environments of the market before the pandemic hit, during the pandemic, and after. You will notice that some of the industries were affected more than others, some prospered (such as pharma) while some experienced disasters (tourism, and airline companies). The list of companies are as follows, For Financial services – China Everbright LTD, Cash financial services group LTD, Yuexiu Property Co LTD, Gemini Investments holdings LTD, China merchants china direct investments LTD. For Trading and Logistics – Orient overseas international LTD, Xiamen ITG group, Wuchan zhongda group LTD, Shenzhen International Holdings, COSCO shipping ports. For Tourism – The hong kong and Shanghai hotels, china travel international investments, Miramar hotel and investment company limited, Cathay pacific airways, China eastern airlines. For Professional and Producer services – China aerospace international holdings, CSPC pharmaceutical group, Dong Feng Electric, CK Hutchison holdings LTD, Dairy farm international holdings. These companies are all on the Bloomberg Terminal and they have historical data dating back to the beginning of the pandemic. I have done some preliminary research and found some academic articles you can use in the literature review and also to educate yourself about the topic. When going through these and trying to find more sources, look at the references list of the articles I have sent, most of them reference similar articles that we can use for our research. Further, go to scholar.google.com and search for more articles. There is a lot of information about this topic. It is imperative that you read a lot, and are well informed about the topic as this will show in the final product. I have also attached a guide to writing the dissertation, which will outline each section of the dissertation and explain what is meant to be included, please read through this as it will show you how extensive some of our explanations are expected to be. This is an extremely important assignment and seeing as you are an “expert in the field” I am expecting a quality piece of work.
