I like your post in that it describes a successful EPR implementation approach that focuses on success not schedules. What an important lesson for management that wants to get ERP done right. The old saying of “Do you want it fast, or done right” is so true. The approach of getting a phase done before moving to the next is smart. It segments the project into smaller manageable pieces and reduces risk.
The training can also be more focused because it is dealing with a smaller skill set than the entire system. The other benefit I see is that if something goes wrong and something alway does, maximum attention can be put on it because of the segmented phase approach.

The benefit is the flow of communication on processes like inventory and order tracking and still, sales forecasting is made easier by this ERP system. Walmart is always internally improving and good, clear, and reliable data is absolutely necessary to feed the system and give the company the position that holds on the market.
