To truly appreciate the arts and the art world you must physically see art and learn about current working artists. Too commonly are only dead artists celebrated while dismissing living artists. I am looking for you to tell me about your perspective of the importance of art, especially regarding artists that are alive. In your paper, tell the reader why this event is necessary. Tell the viewer what you got out of it.
OPTIONS:
First Friday Art Crawl, gallery openings (not in ACC’s gallery), Meow Wolf Denver, Denver Arts Festival, artist talks, etc.
If you find an option not listed above, please verify with your instructor to validate the art event as an actual art event

Your thoughts regarding the experience
The importance of this event
Talk about one artist you found that resonated with you. Discuss what that artist does in their craft. You will have to do some personal research on that artist. Describe the artist’s artwork through your words.
ADDITIONAL ATTACHMENTS:
Attach a document related to your attendance. This can be a receipt, brochure, ticket, a photo of yourself next to the artwork, etc. as long as it proves your attendance.
