Family Profile (Including mine) + Background

I was born in August 2003. I am from Srilanka. My parents were Catholics back then. But after they got married, they converted to Seventh-day Adventists. I am an Adventist too. I went to an International school in Srilanka. My parents never attended any colleges or universities. My parent never had a permanent career too. But due to my parent’s support towards the religion, my dad’s aunt helped my family till today.

Electronics & Programming

Since my childhood around grade 1, I had some major interests in electronics and it continued till I was in grade 8. I used to create different electrical wire systems around my home. Create some circuits. Investigate the circuitry in damaged appliances at my home. Likewise, my interest in electronics grew. And when I was a teenager, I created complex circuits and also fixed some of the damaged items at my house.

But when I was in grade 8, things changed. The studies that I was learning got more compound and complicated. Through grade 8, I studied some new interesting subjects such as physics, chemistry, and so on. During those times, I found a fresh addition to my electronic skills, which was also known as programming.

It introduced me to Arduino programming. It was even more interesting than electronics. And I learned to program and built my first Arduino project. Likewise, as a hobby, I continued doing programming to this day and built lots of items including, multifunctional remote cars, sensor units at my home, and many more.

After my O levels, I got to take part in an islandwide robotics competition held at one of a campus in Sri Lanka known as NIBM. Representing our school, some of my friends agreed to join that competition as a group. And, we got to be in the top 10 schools islandwide.

Music

Apart from my electronics and programming, I had some passion for other activities/skills. And it was music. I was doing music since I was in grade 6. But not all at once. The music grew in my life as a partner. I was introduced to a small keyboard and played it while I was in grade 6. Then I upgraded it to a big-sized keyboard with a wider range of keys. And became an intermediate player.

Since then, I’ve been a musician. I was a piano player since my O levels and got my first guitar at the start of the 11th grade. Likewise, I got updated with other kinds of instruments, such as bass guitars, piano, lead guitars, and so on. Then, after high school, I got introduced to music production where I got all my studio equipment and start building songs and doing some song covers too.

Music gave me a tremendous turn in my life. Through music, I got the ability to concentrate harder, think more creatively, and multitask. Music made my life easier and smooth because the music took away my stress, especially during my exams. Music can alter my personal feelings too. Whenever I feel bad or exhausted, I go to my piano and play a couple of my favorite songs, which will make me more satisfied and give a sudden change to my feelings.
