Review – A written review of 2000 words (+/- 10%) which provides a review of the topic

• Sources of information should include books, reviews, original papers and appropriate websites. Patient information sites may provide some introductory information and links to more detailed sources, so may be included. (No references to Wikipedia please – remember, this is a final year assignment and should contain scientific information of an appropriate standard.)

• You should aim to review all aspects of the disease including: aetiology, epidemiology, pathology, diagnosis, treatment and current research. We suggest you use subheadings and include diagrams, tables or photographs as appropriate. The degree of emphasis placed on each aspect may need to be different for different topics. Use your own judgement on this, based on your research.

The following is a checklist of what we expect to see in a good review

My lecturer prefers main source of information to be from published journals such as using nature, pubmed, science direct and scopous.
