Business wise, This system can attract people to join / invest because if we hire more professional counselors to help people by using this system, it allows other people to view our system as a major platform to seek for mental health help, and thus more professionals will register with us to have another source of income. When that happens, the public would start to use our services too to the point where they upgrade to premium accounts (given that it is a freemium), which we can give incentives like enabling them to consult better professionals available on the platform.

Initially, I think to have the base for the system, we would have to make contracts with counselors to do business with us. Then after awhile when the system get attraction, we try to convert the counselors into registering with us willingly. The system I’m proposing allows normal users and professionals to register separately and does the consultation in a video meeting, allowing users to consult counselors from diff countries. So, users are not limited to using local hotlines to find help.
Hotlines may not achieve the effect of convincing and relieving their patient’s stress either since there’s no real comfort in listening to another human being over the phone, whereas the system can do a better job in this aspect when they are f2f instead. So by using this system, user expectations can more likely be met by getting mental reinforcements from professionals in dealing with their problems.
