This was my answer:

Goal #1:

By 2040, Uber intends to be a purely electric, zero-emission service, with all trips occurring in electric vehicles, on public transportation, or via micro-mobility (Li et al., 2022). As the biggest transportation platform globally, they must take the fight against global warming seriously. In order to accelerate a fair and sustainable energy revolution, they will achieve this by giving users more eco-friendly transportation options, assisting drivers in switching to electric vehicles.

Goal #2:

Uber wants to eventually enable consumers to book all forms of transit using its app. It’s not the only firm with an aspiration of a transportation future that is entirely tech-cantered. Other businesses, such as rival Lyft Inc., are also attempting to include public transportation choices. For instance, riders of Lyft in Santa Monica, California, may now search up route details for nearby transportation using the app. According to Arun Sundararajan, a professor at New York University’s business school, “It’s a component of their belief in a future in which we will have some applications via which we can utilize all of our mobility options.” (Faculty News | Arun Sundararajan | Bloomberg – NYU Stern). Rather than merely using a car, that may include using one app to plan to ride a bike to the train and then drive to work.

Planning aids a firm in determining the best route for achieving its goals. Senior executives receive the information they need from the planning process to make resource allocation decisions that will help the company reach its goals. The output goes up, and resources aren’t wasted on projects with little prospect of success. Planning also helps executives rate activities in terms of how strongly they connect to the ultimate goal by outlining priorities for every operational unit.

My answer was totally wrong but I’ll put her feedback below so you fully understand what exactly my instructor is looking for:

Provide a short review of different technologies available to people professionals- 2 detailed examples will answer the criteria.

You need to provide a short review of how the different technologies can be used to improve working practices and collaboration in your presenter notes. You might consider for example, technologies relating to communications, information sharing, record keeping, learning, wellbeing, productivity or security.

I would advise using subheadings to split down your answer- using one for each technology example and then a subheading explaining how they can be used to improve working practices and collaboration.

The Word count for this question is 200-250
