Write a business proposal in a report format. It must contain all of the information listed below.

Every item needs a detailed explanation.

1. Name of your business (be creative): Fitness for Life Gym Club and Health Bar
2. Hours you will be open (be in detail): The gym will be 24 hours. Workouts can be conducted anytime, except for major holidays.

Fitness training and special classes hours will be between the hours of 7am – 8pm Monday – Sunday.

The Health Food Bar will be open 7am – 8pm Monday – Saturday, 8am – 6pm Sunday.

3. What do you do? (Fix, sell, build, feed, serve, help? (Educational topic): This “high end gym” caters to its clients by walking them through a workout plan and health food plan for a healthy lifestyle. We offer different packages and plans that allows you to customize your workout and healthy lifestyle for you! We offer normal gym workouts, personal training, class training sessions (yoga, Pilates, self-defense), massages, saunas, Himalayan salt rooms, and swimming. We will offer childcare services as well as for parents who would like to bring their children aboard.
4. Location of the business. Is it a small, rural community or a large, urban community? Where in the town will you be located? Actually, choose a location. Explain why that location will be good for your business. The location will be in Buckhead, Georgia, a prestigious and wealthy community outside of the heart of Atlanta. The location will be housed in Buckhead Office Building, 550 Pharr Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305. The gym will occupy 4 floors in the office building and designated on one side of the building. This location is perfect for this business because although there are other gyms in the area, there is no other gym similar to this one. This is an all-in-one inclusive deal with something to offer everyone. This is a family-oriented environment and since Buckhead is known for its high-end residences and shopping, our business will exceed the competition.
5. Identify the competition in your business area and location (Explain information). There are other gyms in the area. Those gyms are the typical “come and go” type of gyms. There is nothing personalized for their clients. Those gyms do not offer their customers an experience that makes them feel a sense of completion after a workout. While we understand some people like the in and out type of experience at a gym, we offer an experience that caters to our clients in a one-on-one feel. Also, our gym will be like a meet-up and hang out spot for friends where you can have lunch on the patio or spacious roof top grass area, both offers scenic views. We will have on-site security around the clock so safety will be covered for our clients at all times. Entry can only be accessed after hours will key card.
6. How many employees will you need? You must have at least 3. What specific positions will these employees hold? Select training needs. We will have a staff for the gym of 5 who will see to the cleanliness of the gym. We would have a customer service staff of 5-7 employees who will handle daily customer service issues. We will have 8-10 trainers for training services. Those trainers will conduct special classes as well. The Health Food Bar staff will be consisted of 10-15 employees. All staff will be on hand during business hours in shifts. Trainers will need to be certified by the State of Georgia. The Health Food Bar will have to be cleared for operations by the State Health Board of Georgia. We will have a security team of 8-10 and they will be certified to operate in a law enforcement fashion so certification will be important for safety. We will have an IT department for technical needs of 2 people. Our maintenance staff will be 3-4 people to fix operational needs.

During overnight hours and after closing hours, we will have only one cleaner and customer service staff and 2-3 security staff.

7. Why do you think your business will succeed or not? (Explain in your own words)
