Using Assessment Results to Improve Lesson Planning -Use APA
In this module, you will analyze how assessment impacts instruction. Examining assessment data over time, you will use this information to inform future decisions concerning lesson plan development.
Step 1. Analyze
Access and analyze the Sample Class Scores Excel spreadsheet. Formulate a paper beginning with a paragraph describing any observed trends (e.g., demographic, over time etc.).
Step 2. Compile
Compile the spreadsheet data into two figures, a line graph, and a pie chart. Use an online chart creation site ( . Copy the image(s) into your Word document. Label each figure according to appropriate APA format.
Step 3. Construct
Construct a remedial lesson plan to improve scores. Choose one subject of your choice and presume the spreadsheet scores are for the subject (you may choose to use actual scores and real students). For the lesson plan, address each of the following; include the bulleted headings in your paper.
