Hello writer 223809, thank you for helping with the previous assignment this PART1 is an expansion of what you previously have written in synthesis (2000 words circa) and it will need to be less than 5000 words (so adding 3000 circa words). You will start from the document with tutor’s feedback that you will need to follow and please keep this format. You can adapt the table of contents format as it will need to match the page numbers. this document is just a draft so you will have to adjust it accordingly with what you’ll write. example: the abstract is already 300 words and needs to stay 300 words but you might need to adjust the content as previously we’ve been missing the scope for example (this can be anything you want, I am happy with it). I wouldn’t add anymore figures unless is very necessary. You’ll need to find some proof that HIV-1 is still emerging in some places. The chapters don’t need to be all same lengths as some parts are more important than others if you remember (chaper 4,5 example). Please be guided by the table of contents sections and subheadings. I’ll remind you here the objectives of research so you have them but the chapters should be self explanatory:
1. Description of current HIV global distribution and occurrence analysing UNAIDS, GBD and WHO’s data to highlight HIV is still an emerging disease. Historical contextualisation of CRISPR/Cas9 system as editing tool against HIV-1.
2. Description of how current knowledge of the virus genetics enabled application of CRISPR/Cas9 nuclease to HIV-1, what is its current development against HIV-1 and its importance.
3. Presentation of detailed analysis of CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing targets based on studies related to the molecular mechanism of HIV-1 infection.
4. Description of limitations/benefits of using CRISPR/Cas9 as a gene-editing therapy for HIV-1 and where science is taking it next.
