Abstract – This is very brief but clear.
List of figures – This should include the
title of the figures. The actual figures
should be included in your Findings and
discussions chapter.

Introduction – You briefly set the scene by
explaining how the pandemic has led to
the introduction of e-learning in
kindergartens. However there is no
consideration about what is meant by e-
learning. You also need a clearer
articulation of vour research questions and
sub-research questions.

Literature review – The first paragraph
acts as the introduction to your literature
review and you state what you are going
to cover. At the moment there is far too
much emphasis on “Suspending classes
without suspending learning”. Remember
that the aim of a literature review is to
position your research within the wider
literature to show how your topic fits in to
the bigger picture and to demonstrate
how it has led to your research question.
At the moment you have not done this and
there are large sections which contain no
in-text references showing that you have
not engaged with the literature to support
the points you are making. You have used
the phrase online literacy which is
fundamentally a different concept to
online learning. Online literacy is
concerned with having the skills to use
online media effectivelv which is not what
you mean here.

Methodology – This chapter is very
difficult to follow. You have tried to
consider research paradigms and how
they relate to your research but there are a
lack of in-text references in this section.

Findings and discussion – At the
beginning you state that you will look at
the disadvantages of online learning.
However your dissertation is about
parents and teachers perceptions. You
appear to be saying that there are only
disadvantages and no benefits. You
arrange your findings by theme and try to
discuss these in relation to the literature.
would expect this discussion to link back
to literature from your literature review,
however this is not the case and you
introduce new iterature. At the moment
this chapter does not reflect adequately
the findings from your questionnaires and
interviews.

Conclusion – This needs to clearly link
back to your research question.
Overall, I found your dissertation difficult
to follow. I feel that you have tried to over-
complicate your message with your choice
of words and because of this, your writing
lacks clarity. You need to be careful in your
use of a thesaurus. Although you have
tried to use the literature, in places there
are long sections with no in-text
references. This means that you are
writing assertions. You must support the
points that you making with evidence i.e.
in-text references.
