Assignment Outline:
• This assessment is a report response to a real-life client brief (that has been attached and is called “brief 4 Burberry Sustainability”. You will need to design and conduct some research linked to one of the tasks set by our clients. Please read the Assignment outline and the Burberry sustainability brief very thoroughly and follow them to the tee. The “Brief 4 Burberry_Sustainability” highlights everything that is required for this response, plead read it carefully and follow it closely.
• By generating some limited qualitative primary (interviews – online or in person) and secondary (desk-based) research, you will take the role of a marketing consultant (3rd person) and produce a report in response to one of the client briefs given to you (in this case the Burberry sustainability brief that is attached).
• The submission must include some literature, primary research findings, analysis and recommendations. The word limit is 3,500 words
• Please use all the reference material I have provided (readings and slides) as well as further ACADEMIC sources you find. Please use at least 25 sources altogether. I have attached screenshots of souces that can also be used
• Please apply the necessary frameworks in the essay eg- freeman (like the ones shown in the sample essays) but obviously the ones that apply to this response to the brief.
• See the document attached named “tips” for guidance and tips on writing this essay.
• The 3 main documents to read carefully and follow are (“Assignment outline”, “Brief 4 Burberry_Sustainability” and “Tips”) please read these all carefully and in depth.
• For the actual essay the word count should be 3,500 words but I have paid for 4,500 words so that in the appendices section of the essay you can write up the interviews for me.
• I have also attached a few sample essays which were written in previous years showing the grade they received as well. These essays are not on the same topic as this one however PLEASE use it as a guideline and you can follow the same structure as them. These sample essays are a very good guideline and please follow the same structure and see the style of writing used, just do the same thing.**please use the sample essays and follow the same design, structure, style, interview methods etc.**
• The report should include subheadings and you may wish to use visuals (e.g. images, graphs, charts) to illustrate key points.
• Indicative structure: title of brief, outline of brief in an introduction, a review of literature and industry insights, methods and interview approach, themes that emerge, recommendations, reflections, reference list, and appendix (i.e. ethics forms, you must include at least one fully typed up interview transcription, and the information sheet that was sent to your interviewees).
• Any sources referred to in the article must be cited in the text and listed in the Reference List. The reference list is not included in the word count. Use the Harvard Referencing method.
Drawing on the debates, resources, theories and speakers you will respond to the brief provided. You should use and incorporate academic literature, your own reflections regarding the contemporary issues, in addition to interview data from stakeholders (not consumers or other students) and the guest speakers. Your report should include an introduction and conclusion. You should also include details about how you have critically examined contemporary issues that are affecting marketing in the global context and how this informs your approach to the brief. Your writing should discuss and apply theoretical concepts and frameworks outlined in the module and the recommended readings.
