Dyslexia
For the purpose of this assignment, teacher candidates will research the learning disorder of dyslexia. After researching, candidates will write a paper about dyslexia. At a minimum, the research paper must include the following information.
history and statistical information about dyslexia (include information about risk factors and comorbidities)
indicators/warning signs of the learning disorder among primary students AND intermediate students
specific differentiated instructional practices (include content, process, product, learning environment) a teacher could use with a dyslexic student
Additional Directions:
Organize your paper in sections and paragraphs. Must include an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
The paper must be written APA 7 style and must include a title page and reference page (no abstract needed). APA Samples & Resources
Must use at least three professional references (one of these may be the textbook).
The paper must be at least four full pages in length (not including title or reference page) but no more than six pages.
It should be written in 12-point font and double-spaced.
The paper should be edited and well-written.
A Turn It-In score of less than 20%.
