Reflections and Future Plan
Instructions:
As the final Discussion Board, please describe some of your experiences in the program as well as your plans for the future.
Deliverables:
• Enter an initial post by Wednesday at 1159PM EST answering the discussion questions.
• Enter a response post by Sunday at 1159PM EST to at least one of your classmates’ initial posts or response posts.
• Initial post must be a minimum of two to four paragraphs. No outside reference is required.
• Response post must be a minimum of one paragraph. It is not necessary to cite an outside source for the response post if one is not used.
• Follow the guidelines as outlined in the Discussion Board Rubric.
Grading Criteria:
Each of the following five sections is worth 20% of the total grade.
• Individual Input and Initiative
• Group Participation and Interaction
• Critical Thinking and Analysis
• Sources and Resources
• Presentation and Style
Grammar, Punctuation and Sentence Construction
One point deduction for each non-repetitive error. For example, one word spelled incorrectly throughout the assignment receives only one point deduction. For non-repetitive errors, these criteria are “uncapped” (i.e. 25 typos = 25 points deducted). Grading under this criteria evaluates whether the error distracts the reader from understanding the material presented.
Late Policy
Discussion Board Initial Posts are due by no later than Wednesday at 1159pm EST.
A late initial post will result in a deduction of 20 points.
If there is no submission of an initial post at any time during the week, there will be a deduction of 80 points.
Follow-up posts are due by no later than Sunday at 1159pm. A missed follow-up post will result in a 20-point deduction.
