Informative Speech, Outline
Drawing upon the topic you selected for last week, you will create an outline for your informative speech.
Assignment Instructions
This is the second step in the creative process, and serves as the blueprint or skeleton of your speech.
Add a references page at this stage of development. This speech should have 2 scholarly sources cited.
The feedback I received from professor on the first paper was the following:
There are some issues to be addressed. Some of your sources are pre-pandemic or at the very start. This opens the door for your speech to contain a fallacy, which you don’t want. Is there solid research and adoption by the medical community? Is it experimental or part of the standard of care? All of these things need to be figured out. Be sure to read my comment to your discussion post. Be sure to read my comments on your paper. INFORMATIVE SPEECH GUIDANCE: The time limit is only 3-4 minutes long. Organize the speech into 3 main points. Tell the audience the 3 most important things about your topic. You will need to verbally cite at least 2 sources to support your speech. Use only credible sources (no blogs, Wikipedia, social media).
